Microscopic analysis is a high-end analytical equipment, such as optical microscope and electron microscope, to observe the composition phase and the type of structure composition in metal, as well as their relative quantity, size, shape and distribution. The properties of materials depend on the internal structure state, and the structure depends on the chemical composition and processing technology. Heat treatment is an important technological means to change the structure, so microscopic analysis is an important means to check and control the quality of materials and heat treatment. Microscopic analysis involves many sample types, including metallurgical and geological samples, electronic materials, ceramics and microscopic analysis of various surface pollutants.
